Alex Resnick

Founder, President

Alex spent the last 15 years in Sales, Consulting and Training across the startup and corporate worlds, selling software and services into SMB, Mid-market and Enterprise organizations. During this time, he also assumed responsibility for regional sales training, new hire sales coaching, and leadership development. 

In 2015, Alex was in a car accident that acted as a life, and career, wake-up call. He became dedicated to personal and professional growth, and actively worked to find clarity in his true passions. Alex set out to design a career based on his authenticity (not just what “society” wanted for him) and aligned his personal and professional goals accordingly. 

Identifying his passion for startups and entrepreneurship, Alex joined one of San Diego’s fastest growing SaaS startups in 2017. He developed a new business unit to take them up-market and was responsible for selling, managing a sales team, as well as creating and delivering all internal sales training, which they still use today. This took him to further explore the training and consulting world, joining Miller Heiman Group where he sold and delivered Sales & Leadership Training to Mid-market & Enterprise clients. In 2020, MHG was acquired and Alex took this opportunity to start his own consultancy providing these same services, as well as professional development programs, for individuals, startups and medium sized companies. 

Scott Goryeb

Co-Founder, Head of Operations

Scott spent the last 15 years managing sales, marketing and product teams at startups, and most recently working in Sales Strategy & Operations for the Global Accounts team at LinkedIn.

In Scott’s time at LinkedIn, he managed sales operations for 40 of the largest global accounts including the likes of Apple, Google, Amazon, and Tesla. Responsibilities included quota setting & comp design, forecasting and strategic projects for senior leadership.

During his startup experience, Scott started an internship program that over 100 college students have completed in addition to managing teams in a variety of job functions.

Through this breadth of experience, Scott identified strong communication skills and emotional intelligence as being key to success regardless of company size, seniority level or department. This lead him to join Alex in founding Evolve Leadership with the mission of spreading the importance of practicing communication skills rooted in EQ.
